Do something amazing today – give blood & save a life!

If your answer is time constraint, you should know that the process only take about 30 minutes. Spare 30 minutes of your life and you will save a life.

If you can’t find a place to donate blood, please contact us! We will be more than happy to assist you in finding a blood donation drive near you. You might also want to consider hosting a blood donation drive in your own community!

If your answer is fear of needles, you’re not alone! Many people share such fear but find that they can still give blood. Anxiety or nervousness from pain usually exaggerates your fear of needles while the donation process itself is easy and relatively painless.

What most say is that the slight initial prick pales in comparison to the feeling of accomplishment they get at the end of a successful donation, realizing that they have just saved a life!

Here are some tips to overcome your anxiety:

  • The joy of giving: Remember that by donating blood, you will be helping to save a life. You might feel a slight prick that is over in seconds; but the difference that you make may last a lifetime.
  • Knowledge is power: Prior to donating blood, understand the blood donation process – know what to expect so that you are prepared for each step of the blood donation process. Feel free to ask questions if you want to learn more.
  • Happy thoughts: Take a deep breath and relax during the process. Try to distract yourself from the anxiety by bringing in happy thoughts to your mind – or you can even listen to music that you love during the process. A calm mind also helps relax the nerves that control the blood flow.
  • Bring moral support: Recruit your friends and family to join you! It will feel great to have them by your side to celebrate your first blood donation.
